Syllabus

Primary Section

School strictly follows NCERT syllabus for all languages / subjects except Malayalam. Syllabus of Malayalam as the primary language in classes I to V is as per Kerala State syllabus. Mid-term and Final examinations are conducted by Department of Education, Delhi and students has to pass in all subjects in class V to get promotion to class VI.  Parents can login into SMART to get the details of syllabus of each subject.

Middle Section

NCERT syllabus and text books are followed in classes VI-VIII. Three language formula is implemented with English, Hindi and Malayalam (compulsory third language). Information Technology is taught as compulsory skill subject under NSQF. In all these classes, Mid-term and Final examinations are conducted by Department of Education and students need to pass in all subjects in class VIII to get promoted to class IX.

Secondary Section

CBSE syllabus is followed in classes IX and X with NCERT text books. Malayalam is compulsory Additional Language  for all students and Information Technology is taught as compulsory skill subject (additional)  under NSQF ((except for CWSN who do not want to take an additional language / subject).  Mid-term examinations and final examination of class IX are conducted by Department of Education.

Senior Secondary Section

17 subjects are offered in classes XI and XII (main / additional electives)  as per CBSE curriculum. Even though the concept of streams are not in practice, some of the subject combinations are given as mandatory for students to help them in preparing for competitive examinations / entrances. Mid-term examination of XI and XII and final examination of XI are conducted by Department of Education, Delhi.
